ITS ABOUT TIME

IT'S ABOUT TIME ............

 and  all ...................the -----stuff that comes with keeping 
our life in order . 

 My day is filled with, watch repair, watch bands , and just 
watching people in new york . 

 I love my handmade ,clocks and watching them get adopted by people all over the world .  
 I sold one to a tourist from France today. 
I told her my clock speaks ,fluent, french , and will keep her on time . but her payment has to be in dollars.

 Silly me , a clock tells time --here, there , or anywhere.

I just wanted to take a minute to send my love to all the clients and neighbor's that have reached out to me . I opened in 1975 at 816 Madison Ave , then to 39 Christopher street , then to 47 ave A , and now to the little store at 43 Ave A  ..  I have been through the death's  of my entire immediate family ,  the loss of Jose Antonio to aids after 20 years of making fashion in new york in 1998  I ended up  Homeless in Seattle , then opening up my own store again at 711 Third Ave , Seattle Wa ....in 1990 , and back to New York's east village in 1997 , Sept 11th , Hurricane Sandy , Superstorm Irene, and insurmountable obstacle's to keep a small mom and pop shop open in New York ....I have buried hundred's of friends and fellow artist , and 3 uncles to covid.   But this Covid -19 pandemic , has been the hardest thing I have ever faced.    I'm watching my neighbors close up their restaurants, and small shop's on Ave A  .....Clients lose thei...

WEDDING GIFT ????? OR SOMETHING FROM THE REGISTRY ???

Wedding gifts are always a problem for some people. In 30 yrs of Galleria's existence ,I, have, heard it all but I'm sure there is room for more. He's Jewish- she is not She's Jewish- he is not I want to give them something they can both use. I do not know what their new place looks like . I don't want to carry anything on the plane -train-or subway . They have everything -already. The registry is boring-too expensive$$$ - or, from a place I do not like Do Same Sex couples get the same kinda stuff I get my hetro friends? She's my best friend and I hate him. Is it tacky to share a gift with someone else? I'm unemployed but don't want my gift to express that. Can they return it without knowing how much I spent? How long do they have to return this gift ? and do they need the receipt ? Can I pay 1/2 in cash and 1/2 by credit card so my spouse does not know how much I'm really spending????
